UK: Flower Council of Holland nominated for BFA industry award

The Flower Council of Holland has been nominated for a BFA Industry Award for the Floristry Service Provider of the Year category.

The Flower Council have been promoting the industry, and inspiring consumers through on-trend content, campaigns, and consumer PR activities to make sure that flowers and plants are always top of mind with today’s consumers. These activities are pushed out on consumer platforms Funnyhowflowersdothat.co.uk and Thejoyofplants.co.uk.

The Flower council also provides florists with the zeitgeist trend displays every year to inspire florists with the latest new Style Trends. Monthly information including the Flower Agenda and Houseplant of the Month campaigns to help facilitate florists with information, care tips and trivia needed to engage with their own customers and make them stand out from the supermarkets through knowledge and extra customer care, whether in-store or online. Free downloadable images and POS materials are also available for the industry to use and facilitate their business and promotions.

Last year the Flower Council created a free, hands-on online training course for florists to help improve their online presence in today’s digital world. The Best Improved Online Programme can still be accessed to this day.
