US (MI): Cut Flower Production short course for current and future farmers

The MSU North Farm continued its short courses program Sunday, Aug. 19.

Participants got both classroom and experiential learning at the afternoon's course. Farmers from the area taught the facts and figures behind cut flower production, and then moved to another farm in the area, Rock River Farm. There participants took part in the hands-on portion about harvesting flowers and making bouquets.

The final course for this year will be on Sept. 30 about forest resource management.
