November 6-9, Vijfhuizen

How can floriculture respond to an ever-changing international environment?

On the eve of IFTF, Union Fleurs is organising the International Floriculture Forum 2018. Held in the auditorium of Expo Haarlemmermeer in Vijfhuizen, the Netherlands during the afternoon of Tuesday 6 November, the Forum will host a range of high-level speakers who will be invited to share their views with the audience on major ongoing and upcoming changes in the fields of international trade, logistics and product innovation.

What do ongoing developments like rising protectionism at global level and Brexit mean for the international floriculture trade? How will logistics respond to a changing business and international environment? What impact will the consolidation of breeding companies have on product innovation? These are some of the questions that will be addressed by the speakers during the Forum.

Professional moderator Simone van Trier will conduct the programme and facilitate interaction with the audience to ensure a dynamic and stimulating afternoon for top management and decision-makers across the international floriculture value-chain.
The International Floriculture Forum will take place on Tuesday 6 November 2018 from 13:30 to 16:30 in the auditorium of Expo Haarlemmermeer (IFTF Fairground) in Vijfhuizen, the Netherlands.

IFTF expands to 2 hectares
In its 9th year of existence, HPP has achieved another one of its prime goals, i.e. by having created the circumstances to allow its 'flagship' IFTF to further grow and become the best and biggest one in the world of its kind.

With the recent completion of the extension of Expo Haarlemmermeer, HPP has been able to develop its 3 year plan to structurally enlarge IFTF, be it with a delay of 2 years.

As a result the fair will show this year a further growth and although the space will not fully occupy the new total available space, this is expected to happen in 2020. A further increasing number of exhibitors as well as several exhibitors deciding to considerably enlarge the size of their stands, are the main reasons why the trade fair is growing this year.
