Plantarium returns to trade roots
The 36th edition of the revamped Plantarium trade show has been well-received by both exhibitors and visitors. From a consumer and marketing approach in recent years, now the focus has shifted firmly back to trade and grower. As part of that move, the entire trade show was also moved to the GROEN-direkt part, essentially combining the two events.

This was a lot more practical, and also made for a more structured visit by growers, suppliers and traders. "The combination of the free marketplace Plantarium, where innovations, introductions and customer relations are the main focus, with the extensive offer from the growers at GROEN-Direkt, had enormous added value for many visitors", says Plantarium's Jos van Lint.

Although exact numbers have not been announced yet, and so it isn't clear whether the decline in visitors of recent years has been halted, both Wednesday and Thursday there was quite a buzz at the trade show floor. The Holygreen Festival, held on Friday, was visited by around 1,000 guests.
