New: Super Series Donatello F1
New in the product range is the Cyclamen Super Series Donatello. This silver-leafed Super Series is suitable for plant-based summer growing. Available in 7 colours with a pot size of 8 cm - 12 cm.
In addition to the existing range, they are always working on new developments in the field of Cyclamen breeding. During the Cyclamen Open Days the breeder will show some novelties and improvements, such as Super Series in pre-introduction and new or improved colours.
Cyclamen Fertilization test
During the Cyclamen Open Days, Schoneveld will show its fertilization test. This trial investigates the effects of an adapted fertilization strategy on the shelf life of cyclamen. With this fertilization trial they try to bring out the best cultivation aspects, coupled with the best shelf life in the chain. The trial is a follow-up to the fertilization test that the breeder carried out last year, which looks at the performance of flowers and plants (for example, the reduction of leaf yellowing and flower shelf life).
In addition to the fertilization test, during the Cyclamen Open Days you will see a sustainability test organized by the National Committee Cyclamen of LTO Glaskracht Nederland. This test, which is being carried out in collaboration with other breeders and Royal FloraHolland, aims to improve the sustainability of Cyclamen in the chain.
