MNP Flowers pitches Sundaville

MNP Flowers organized their first Sundaville Retail Experience. The aim is to inspire wholesalers, exporters and retailers so that they can bring the Mandevilla brand to the attention of their consumers. The plant is so special, explains the breeder, that it, next to the display at the FlowerTrials, deserves its own stage.

Jeroen F. Egtberts, Director at MNP flowers, is pleased with the attention for the event: "In all respects, Sundaville is an interesting product. Next to its decorative value, we can show several novelties that originated from our Sundaville, like the MiMi series and the Up Series. These will become available in 2019 and 2020 and we will tap into an entire new market. By organizing these open days, we try to 'heat up' the market."

"It is an elusive plant, but at the same time, we can use it in every segment", adds product specialist at MNP Flowers Klaas Droog. "From high-end florist to garden centers to budget stores, in every channel Sundaville can be positioned well. It is an extra feaster of our Mandevilla, an additional reason why we foresee a bright future for this product."

During the event, one can meet the breeders of Sundaville, the Japaneses company Suntory. A delegation proudly tells about the long breeding process of over 25 years, and the launch of Sundaville.

Today is the final day of the Sundaville Retail Experience, but the plants will be on display till Friday.
