The e-Phos is designed by Fraunhofer institute (DE) and was adapted to remove the nitrate and phosphorous from the drainwater and recover that phosphorous as fertilizer. A combination of ion exchange and the electrochemical phosphorus recovery technology ePhos has been showcased at PCS on the 12th of July.
