Pleasant View Gardens (PVG) announces the addition of Kevin McDonald to its growing sales team. With more than two decades of sales and management experience, McDonald brings with him a vast understanding of how to make customers more successful. And he’ll be able to apply that insight as PVG’s Northeast Territory Sales Manager, where his responsibilities include account management, new product launches, territory management and expansion, and production planning, as well as industry relations, operations, and personnel management.
“Kevin’s background in sales and his ability to manage people and complex programs made him the ideal candidate for us, states Andy Huntington, Pleasant View’s national sales manager. “His passion and customer focus, regardless of the market, is something that clearly stood out. And we’re thrilled to add him to our family.”
McDonald’s background in the sales and management of branded product lines has provided him a solid base of experience on which to help PVG better service its customers and strengthen its position in the Northeast. That experience includes his prior positions as the area sales manager for the ROI Sales Company, where he sold complex electronic equipment, the area brand manager for Pirate Brands, where he was in charge of identifying, hiring, and managing distributor partners, and the sales manager for the Northeast Foodservice Division of Kraft Foods, where he managed the training, equipment installations, and third-party servicing for some of the industry’s top distributors.
McDonald earned his BS in marketing from the University of Illinois, and secured his Masters of Business Administration from the Keller Graduate School of Management.
