A new chair is added to the Excalibur Plastic conference table. With the addition of Mike Garganta the team has grown even further – and also expanded geographically. The US market is to be included in its scope and to be serviced even better by the enlarged team.
Mike Garganta has gained his experience in the heating industry and therefore knows the horticultural industry very well. With Excalibur, he will be focusing on the US market, something that is done currently by David Boutros & Dean Colasanti already. “The industry is evolving rapidly and as companies and the industry grow bigger, the more important the use of the best techniques and products becomes.”
That’s exactly what Excalibur has its roots in. The company originates from the needs of former grower Richard Colasanti for innovative greenhouse films. The business expanded rapidly from films to other products as well – all united by the same purpose: helping growers improving their business.
Currently Excalibur Plastics offers Eiffel, Svensson and Genap products to growers in Canada, the US and Mexico. “Helping growers with innovative products is still at the heart of the company, and representing this suits me well. It creates an innovative and energetic atmosphere combined with a down-to-earth mentality. That’s a great combination to work with.”
