The IGCA Congress was held in Czech Republic from 16-21 September and attracted garden centre owners from 16 countries around the globe. The delegates visited a number of garden centres and nurseries around the country and every visit provided delegates with inspiration and solutions they could adapt and adopt in their own garden centres.
The Czech industry is a young garden retail industry, but has grown and developed rapidly into one of the leading retail sectors in gardening. One delegate mentioned he had arrived expecting to see "third world retailing" and left having seen the best in the world.
