Last week the fifth edition of Seed meets Technology took place . During this conference in Zwaagdijk - in the midst of all the open days at breeders in the area - the breeding sector met to discuss the latest developments on seeds and seed technology.

Visitors from all over the world have discovered the conference, and the number of exhibitors is growing accordingly. This year 49 in total, a mix of breeders, but also technology companies.

The men of Fytagoras (Bert van Duijn, Wessel Holtman and Frits van Horssen) brought a true piece of high tech, a technology that measures the breathing of seeds, and connects that data to seed quality.
Variety
Next to the opportunity to catch up and visit stands, several lectures were held by specialists from the sector and there was a chance to go on a variety tour of the demo fields of ABZ seeds, Ergon Seed, Prudac, Sakata, Wing Seed and Takii Europe. The water cultivation of Proeftuin Zwaagdijk could not be left out of course.
