Nigeria: Hibiscus export to Mexico hits $35m in 9 months

Nigerian hibiscus farmers are seeing the light at the end of the tunnel as the crop’s export worth is on the increase as international demand rises.

Speaking to Daily Trust in Abuja, the Coordinating Director, Nigerian Agricultural Quarantine Service, Dr Vincent Isegbe, said from January to September 2018, the agency inspected and exported hibiscus, to Mexico alone, worth 35 million US dollars.
