This year the fifth edition of the World of Flowers is taking place during the IFTF in Vijfhuizen, the Netherlands. In the past years the World of Flowers has become a good addition to the fair, organizing competitions and inspiration, attracting more and more florists to come to Vijfhuizen.
This year the World of Flowers is located near the main entrance and the auditorium. Everyday competitions are taking place with the Wim Hazelaar Trofee (Wednesday and Thursday) and the Student Challenge (Friday) being organized again. Furthermore a vast array of products is shown in the total area and on display in the Inspiration Zone. Completed with all the companies exhibiting in both the World of Flowers area and of course on the rest of the extended fairgrounds, makes a visit to the IFTF in November worthwhile for everyone.
On Thursday evening an event will be organized around the Award ceremony of the Wim Hazelaar Trofee. Chris Martens of Smithers Oasis Benelux will present the Award as the main sponsor during this event and many more activities will take place.
