Greenhouse complex Novosibirsky will grow roses

Gorkunov group of companies are planning to reconstruct the greenhouse complex Novosibirsky in 2019. It is presupposed that the enterprise will open a new rose nursery with the acreage of 4 to 8 ha.

“We are planning to finalise the project planning stage until the end of the year”, reported the director on development of Gorkunov GK, Mr. Vasiliy Pronkin. “If the reconstruction is started in the first quarter of 2019, it will be completed by autumn.”

Mr. Pronkin specified that they are considering engaging both with the cut flowers (roses) and the potted ones. “Currently almost all the flowers in the Russian market are imported ones. Having started this project, we are planning to close the market gap behind the Urals”, added Mr. Pronkin.

The amount of investments to the project has not been voiced yet.

Gorkunov group of companies includes three greenhouse complexes, located in Novosibirsk and Yaroslavl regions, two of which have the acreage of 17 ha each and one with the acreage of 16.6 ha. According to the company, the complexes deliver about 21 thousand tons of produce (cucumbers, tomatoes and lettuce) all year round to the markets of the Central, Ural and Siberian Federal Districts.
