'Ndrangheta hit in European sting

Dutch, Belgian, Italian and German police launched a large-scale operation against Italian mafia organization 'Ndrangheta this week.

The mafiosi have also been active in the flower trade and at the Dutch flower auction, abusing the hub to smuggle drugs. The criminal organization reportedly 'felt safe' in the Netherlands.
