PPC Flexible Packaging acquires Temkin International

PPC Flexible Packaging, a provider of custom flexible packaging for specialty food and healthcare markets, has acquired Payson, Utah – based Temkin International. The combined company will operate under the name PPC Flexible Packaging and its go to market strategy for the produce and floral segments will continue to operate under the Temkin brand. 

PPC, headquartered in Buffalo Grove, IL, is active in flexographic printing and converting of flexible films, bags and pouches. It is a pioneer in cleanroom packaging for healthcare and medical applications, “better for you” snack organic brands, produce, pet food and bakery. The firm operates three manufacturing facilities in Buffalo Grove, IL, Mission, KS, and Rome, GA. Its facilities are SQF and ISO-9001 certified. Founded in 1968, PPC strives to provide the highest quality products with best-in-class lead times and service.

Temkin International, founded in 1980 and headquartered in Payson, UT has provided customers with packaging products by focusing on the core principles of service, value and distinction. It is a provider of rollstock, stand-up pouches and floral sleeves and operates manufacturing facilities in Payson, UT and Bogota, Colombia with offices in Miami, FL and Toronto, Canada. Offering in-house graphics and plate making capability, the company is known for speed to market in key target segments including food, fresh produce, floral and stationary and craft. The company is AIB certified.
