In December, Tristram Plants held their first joint annual Christmas Party, with over 70 staff dressing up for the occasion. To raise money for Perennial, staff were very generous with their donations in return for the hope of a winning raffle ticket. The 12 prizes included three Christmas hampers worth over £130, wine, chocolate and Amazon vouchers, and raised £449 on the night. Another raffle was held by Walberton Nursery on the last day of work, raising a further £76, and Binsted Nursery have donated a further £50 in lieu of giving staff Christmas cards – bringing Tristram Plants fundraising total over the Christmas period to £575.
All the Tristram Plants nurseries are Silver Partners of Perennial because they strongly believe in the valuable support that Perennial provides to horticultural workers. Some of Tristram Plants staff have been personally helped by Perennial funding.
