Martin Stolze introduces a new injection unit

At the IPM Essen, Martin Stolze has introduced a new injection unit, to water potted plants or administer Greendrops Shelflife gel in a controlled manner.

With the patented injection unit it is possible to inject a liquid into the pot. This added liquid extends the shelf life of the plant and prevents premature dehydration during transport and on the store shelves.

The pot on the conveyor belt is halted by two stoppers and then injected. After the injection, the pot is released and moves on, after which the next pot is stopped. It is possible to inject approximately 1,200 pots per hour, depending on pot size and injection time. The injectors are adjustable in depth, angle of injection and amount of liquid.
