"Choose what best fits your needs"

Thanks to adding new products to their range, BLV now offers a complete range of assimilation lighting: From lamps and power supplies to complete luminaires and from HPS or MH to LED. "All from one source and perfectly synchronised with each other", they explain.

At IPM BLV displayed their new hybrid solution: the well established HPS lights in combination with high performance LED interlighting. This hybrid solution is designed for greenhouses with high wire crops.

The HPS luminaires are equipped with a lamp and power supply produced in BLV’s factories in Europe. "The compact and solid design provides high PAR values and spectra for optimum plant growth", the team shares. "The open reflector allows an easy heat dissipation that increases the lifetime of the lamp. This can be translated directly into a reduction of maintenance and replacement costs."

The LED interlighting luminaires are available in different spectra, adapted to the needs of your crop. The passively cooled luminaire has been designed to optimise efficiency, light homogeneity and light absorption by the plants. The anodised aluminium housing is non-corrosive and classified with an ingress protection of IP66. Installation in a continuous line along the rows of plants is made easy thanks to feed-through wiring.

In combination with the HPS toplighing, it makes a hybrid solution allowing more targeted intervention in the production process: Light and heat can be controlled more independently which makes it easier to adopt the climate and lighting conditions to year-round production.
