Carretillas Amate is introducing a new machine for greenhouse growers: an articulated traction group to which certain accessories can be attached, in order to carry out different tasks in cultivation fields along narrow corridors defined between rows of plantations.
It is made up of a front structure for driving it, where the engine and maneuvering mechanisms are arranged, and a rear structure where, in addition to a 500-litre tank, depending on the type of use, there is a phytosanitary treatment equipment (made up of vertical or horizontal phytosanitary treatment bars or an atomizer) or a rake.
This equipment is essentially characterized by the fact that the front and rear structures are connected to each other by means of a articulation mechanism and means of assistance of the traction equipment's maneuvering commands during its movement, these mechanisms and means of assistance being capable of acting as a whole, allowing very reduced turning radii to be achieved with ease by the driver. It has a diesel engine of 18.5 kW and a spray pump of 40 bar and 50 l.
