To help mark Perennial's 180th anniversary this year, they have been talking to journalists from across the horticulture sector about their action-packed year of awareness raising and fundraising at the annual Garden Press Event in London. Colm Joseph and Duncan Cargill, the designers of the Perennial Lifeline Garden at RHS Chelsea Flower Show this year were on hand to talk to people about their first-time Chelsea experience.
Colm said: “We’re honoured to have been chosen to represent Perennial at the RHS Chelsea Flower Show in 2019 and to work with Sir Roy Strong CH on the exhibit. We hope our design resonates with visitors to the show who will be able to walk through the garden, exploring the familiar, reimagined.”
Duncan said: “The garden celebrates design heritage but reinterprets classical principles and elements with an eye on the future. Just as Perennial has adapted over the last 180 years to help countless people in the horticulture industry manage challenging times, we hope the garden takes the best from the past while embracing the future.”
