The NIMA Floriculture Marketing Event will take place for the second time on Wednesday 27 March. The Flower Council of Holland is the exclusive sponsor for this event for, and by floriculture marketeers. The aim of the event is to raise the marketing standards within the floriculture sector to an even higher level - something the whole sector will benefit from.
Monetising an aging population
The theme for this event is ‘Monetising an aging population’. 50% of adults in the Netherlands are currently aged 50 or older, making this a substantial target group. The Flower Council of Holland will therefore give a presentation on the behavior and attitude of this group with regards to flowers and plants. This will be done using a segmentation tool, and extensive and up-to-date knowledge of consumers and their behavior.
