More than 30 companies have linked themselves to the second edition of Garden Trials and Trade 2019, which will be held on 11, 12 and 13 June 2019. Garden Trials and Trade is the main event where the latest breeds in the area of woody plants and perennials are exhibited. Breeders and specialised licensing offices exhibit the most recent innovations in the range. This offers every international branch professional the unique opportunity to admire these novelties in full bloom in the middle of the garden season.
The range of participants is varied and both national and international. Thirteen companies come from the Greenport Boskoop region and other participants from all parts of the Netherlands. International participants come from Germany, France, Switzerland and the US.
Layout of the trade fair
The trade fair will look beautifully green and transparent. In terms of the layout, the choice was made for an open structure with 1.80-metre hedges acting as partitions between the stands. This will create compact and well-organised exhibition grounds. A place where exhibitors and their customers can meet each other is the Green Café, which is centrally located at the trade fair.
Novelty showcase
Companies that take part in Garden Trials and Trade can submit plants for the novelty showcase. The novelties will be judged by a professional judging committee from the Koninklijke Vereniging voor Boskoopse Culturen (The Royal Society for Boskoop Cultures). The best novelty will be announced on Tuesday morning. All the plants that have been judged will be presented in an extension of the entrance to allow visitors to see this year's novelties straight away.
