Nursery Supplies Holdings Inc. Announces CEO Succession

Nursery Supplies Holdings, Inc., a leading manufacturer of high quality, ecofriendly plastic containers that meet the rapidly growing needs of the wholesale nursery industry, today announced the appointment of experienced consumer packaged goods executive Bradley A. Andersen as President and Chief Executive Officer. He will assume day-to-day leadership of the Company and join the Board of Directors on April 1, 2019, upon the retirement of current CEO John L. Collins.

“It has been a privilege to serve as CEO of Nursery Supplies for the past 10 years,” said Collins, who will remain on the Board of Directors in order to ensure a seamless transition. “I am very proud of everything our team has accomplished including our consistent strategy of manufacturing excellence, differentiation, and market leadership. We have doubled the size of the company through both organic growth and acquisitions, developed innovative new products for our growers, become the recycling leader in the industry and embarked on significant capital projects which will grow the company for decades to come.”

Andersen has held positions of increasing responsibility at Procter & Gamble Company across international, domestic and corporate assignments. Andersen has demonstrated a strong track record of improving productivity and effectively managing inventory through the value chain, both domestically and globally, through the implementation of lean manufacturing and equipment effectiveness processes. He led a project at P&G to improve operating performance at manufacturing sites in multiple distribution channels, which drove
breakthrough results. Andersen earned a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from Lehigh University.

“The Board is confident Brad is the right person to build on the forward momentum at Nursery Supplies. He is a seasoned leader with broad business and operations experience in packaging and consumer markets, and expertise operating in a manufacturing environment with operational excellence at its core,” said T.J. Maloney Chairman and CEO of Lincolnshire Management, which owns Nursery Supplies along with the management team. “We thank John for his leadership and dedication to the company.”

“I am very excited to transition with John and assume this new role,” said Andersen. “Nursery Supplies has an exceptionally talented team that is focused on taking actions to invest in growth and transform the business. We will continue to innovate and differentiate our products in new ways and unlock future opportunities. I believe we are taking the right steps to move the business forward.”
