The Flower Council of Holland (FCH) has launched an online marketing portal which provides a selection of campaign materials in ten different languages. This expands on the current four main countries the bureau is focusing on. “A big job, that lets the paying (international) stakeholders know that the Flower Council of Holland is listening to what they have to say”, according to FCH.
The marketing portal works like this
On the portal, Marketingportal.flowercouncil.com, users can easily find thousands of high-resolution files that they can download and share with their target groups. The files contain selected campaigns, seeing as not all campaigns are relevant in every country. To access the portal, paying stakeholders can request a login code online. After being approved by FCH they can enter the marketing portal. The files are available in ten languages: Danish, English, French, Italian, Dutch, Polish, Russian, Spanish and Swedish.
Meeting the demand of paying stakeholders
“The Flower Council of Holland aims their marketing activities at four main countries at the moment: The Netherlands, Germany, France, and the United Kingdom. Although there is quite the demand for campaigns in more languages resonating from the stakeholders, it is not within the budget to develop these. Due to massive investment and effort, FCH is now making this wish a reality. This means that flowers and plants can be brought to the attention of consumers in foreign countries even more”, says Dennis van der Lubbe, managing director of the Flower Council of Holland.
