Danziger invites flower industry to imagine more at Eurovision

Danziger is the official flower sponsor for the 2019 Eurovision Song Contest to be held in Tel Aviv. As the event’s main flower sponsor, Danziger will provide bouquets, table decorations and a host of other decorative floral creations.

Jon Ola Sand, the EBU’s Executive Supervisor of the Eurovision Song Contest, said: “We are delighted to cooperate with an Israeli company recognized as one of the world’s leading and most innovative flower breeding companies. Danziger has seized the initiative to bring joy, glamour and colour to the Eurovision stage with its highly imaginative floral designs.”

“We are thrilled and proud to be a creative partner at this year’s Eurovision Song Contest in Israel,” said Ori Danziger, Deputy Chief Executive Officer of Danziger. “As one of the world’s biggest celebrations of creative expression, glamour and togetherness, we have much in common with the spirit of Eurovision. Flowers symbolize what’s beautiful in life; they inspire our creativity, and have the power to express love and friendship.”

As part of its floral lineup, Danziger has created an eye-catching wall of flowers at the Orange Carpet opening event. The wall is designed with thousands of flowers from Danziger’s assortments, including gypsophila Xlence & My Pink, Scabiosa Scoop series, and chrysanthemums Atlantis series. With the wall of flowers, Danziger hopes stir up the public’s imagination regarding the sensual power of flowers, and provide inspiration to colleagues in the international flower industry.

Ori Danziger also referred to the picture of three generations of breeders that was taken at the Eurovision opening event at the front of Danziger’s flower wall: “This picture symbolizes the best of us, a Family business with a beautiful heritage combined with passion for people and flowers. For Danziger, imagine more is what drives us every day, every hour”.

In addition to the flower wall, Danziger has also crafted table displays in the shape of the Eurovision logo featuring Scoop, Xlence and Paintball varieties that will adorn the Green Room, as well as a unique microphone-shaped bouquet, created by Danziger’s in-house creative director, Ido Fried.

“This is not the first time that Danziger has designed flowers for the Eurovision Song Contest, but we are absolutely thrilled about having another opportunity to give expression to our company’s mission: Imagine more, and we wish all delegations an inspiring time in Israel.”

The Grand Final will be held on the 18th of May at the EXPO International Convention Center in Tel Aviv, Israel. The shows will be co-produced by the Israeli public broadcaster KAN and the EBU.
