Dutch agricultural export to the UK has decreased

The value of the Dutch agricultural export to the United Kingdom has decreased by 45 million in 2018 when compared to 2017, according to the figures of the CBS after research at the request of the Ministry of Economical Affairs and Climate.

It is an estimate, and are, in CBS terminology, 'provisional figures'.

The total value of the export of agricultural products of Dutch origin was 925 million euro in 2018. That is 8 percent of the total export value of the Netherlands, an increase of 0.2 percent with regard to 2017.

The total export of goods and services to the United Kingdom had a total value of 25.5 billion euro, 4 percent more than 2017. The United Kingdom remains, after Germany, the most important export destination for the Netherlands.

In total, the export value to the United Kingdom was almost 60 billion euro, leaving 25.5 billion after deduction of the costs. An amount that makes up 3.3 percent of the Dutch Gross National Product.
