Alstroemeria producer Together2Grow introduces the new Florinca variety ‘Cherry’. This variety from breeder Könst Alstroemeria has a purple/cerise colour and will be part of the the Decorum Rich concept to further strengthen the assortment. The plants have been planted earlier this spring and flowers will be available from week 22 exclusively on the Decorum web shop, and from week 23 through the auction in Aalsmeer. Decorum Rich products are available at flower exporters and wholesalers.
Cherry is distinctive because of its large flowers and long stretching flower stems. The finely shaped leaves at the top of the stems make the flowers stand out well. Many of the Florinca varieties fold their petals backwards when opening the flower but Cherry keeps its flowers trumpet-shaped.
At the same time as this introduction, Könst Alstroemeria is launching its "Florinca Forever" concept. This brand will contain all current and new Florinca varieties from Könst Alstroemeria under one name. Together2Grow and Könst have been working with Florinca products since 2014. Paradiso was the first Florinca variety from Könst which was first produced by Together2Grow. After a few years the production was expanded with the red Dynamite and yellow Fireflies. This colour combination enabled them to set up the successful Decorum Rich concept together with Decorum.
