Arthur Kramer of Florist during their open day:

"The Gerbera’s business in Colombia is very interesting"

On May the 22nd, a Gerbera’s Open House was held at Jacaranda’s Farm in Bogota organized by BallSB and Florist. During the exhibition, clients were able to see the 2019 New Collection with exciting novelties, proven productivity and client’s favorite in Standard and Mini. Among the 2019 novelties, 3 of them were the house’s favorite: Memphis, Mandala, and Santé because of their big flower diameter, long stem length, high productivity and vigorous plants.

In addition to the novelties, the classics like Malibu (high productivity), Pink Elegance (long stems, big head and colors well) and Inferno (intense red and dark center) continued to be part of the favorites. Many clients visited the open House and were really satisfied with the exhibition.

According to Arthur Kramer, Florist representative, “the Gerbera’s business in Colombia is very interesting as it is resuming due to the changes in production areas and production increases are expected. The market is really interested in new types as Pompone, Picolini and Minis”.
