Hamifleurs puts Qualily in the spotlight:

NL: "Year round lilies of the same quality"

Together with their team, Raymond Vijverberg and Ruud van der Hoeven cultivate around 13 million lily stems every year, divided over 5 locations and 10 hectares. Qualily has approximately 20 different lily varieties in its product range and produces high-quality Orientals, LAs, OTs and Longiflorums. These different lilies require different cultivation methods, and with its different locations Qualily can meet these requirements.

Even before the bulbs are planted, Qualily does everything in its power to ensure optimum conditions aimed at cultivating top-quality lilies. First the soil is disinfected by steaming it at a temperature of 100°C. The bulbs are then planted in the soil and placed in cold storage for three weeks at a temperature of 9°C. At the end of these three weeks, the bulbs are moved to the greenhouse, where they develop into magnificent flowers in 11 weeks - ready to create wonderful stories. Thanks to this process and the climate control, Qualily can offer its lilies all year round at the same quality.

In order to preserve quality, the stems are transported to the processing area directly after cutting. This is done via conveyor belts that run through the entire greenhouse. In the warehouse, the stems are immediately divided up, packaged and refrigerated again. This process allows Qualily to offer you the freshest possible lilies.
