By founding Armada China and the assignment of Savio Ma as chief representative, Armada has made an important step in the development of the company. The demand in China for new chrysanthemum varieties and young plants has been growing for many years and is still increasing. Armada’s Dahui Flower Horticulture in Shanghai will speed up these developments. The new potmum and spray mum varieties will still be developed at the head office in De Lier (the Netherlands). Together with many local growers these novelties will be tested for suitability for the Chines market and cultivation methods. Young plants of the new varieties will be produced at one of the company's production sites in Africa or at the sites of one of their Chinese partners.
