On May 27, under the watchful eye of Mart van Buuren and the Van Buuren family, grandsons Douwe jr. and Sebas drove the first pile of the new modern warehouse of BVB Substrates in De Lier.
The warehouse is the first in the substrate sector where products are stored vertically, with a particular focus on efficiency, space saving and sustainability. Pallets can be stored up to an height of five floors. "This means that in the future, customers can be served faster, easier and better. The construction of the warehouse fits in with the innovations that we are implementing on the way to ‘sustainable everyday living ‘."
