During the IFTEX Opening Ceremony yesterday, awards were handed out to exhibitors in different categories. Ronald van der Breevaart was the Head of the Jury of IFTEX’s 2019 Best Grower Quality Competitions and had the honor to announce the winners. Principal Secretary for Trade Dr. Chris Kiptoo and CEO of Royal FloraHolland Steven van Schilfgaarde handed out the awards.
Regarding the flowers, Van der Breevaart looked at the 'wow' factor, the freshness of the color of the flower, the freshness of the leaves and the disease resistance. Below are the results, each with a picture of the exhibitor holding the award in the booth.
