From 11 to 14 June Slijkerman will again hold their yearly Kalanchoë Trials. They open the doors of their high-tech greenhouse in Heerhugowaard (The Netherlands) and take customers along the wide variety of Kalanchoë. During a visit, all commercial varieties, as well as the latest developments, can be assessed on their performance in a practical environment and the shelf life can be viewed in our special shelf life test room.
Tiger Kalanchoë
"A special novelty this year is the Tiger series, which is characterized by contrasting flowers with beautiful drawings. The tough appearance of the varieties from this series fits the powerful appearance of the tiger, to which it owes its name."
Diamond Kalanchoë
"Diamond is the hardest material found in nature and has also been loved for centuries for its beauty and purity. This also characterizes the double-flowered and single-flowered varieties from the Diamond series, which are specially selected for bright colors and above-average shelf life. A derivative of this is a line with varieties that have been specially bred for growing as cut flowers, in which the last years have been fully developed."
Serenity Kalanchoë
"Trendy zoete pastelkleuren, dat kenmerkt de Serenity serie. Met maar liefst 15 verschillende kleuren is er altijd voor iedereen wel een geschikte variëteit te vinden.
