David Austin Roses has confirmed its attendance at RHS Hampton Court Palace Garden Festival, on 2-7 July 2019.
This year a selection of English Rose varieties will offer a treat for the senses, set inside a white picket-fenced garden of bloom draped arches and pergolas, within the show’s celebrated Festival of Roses.
From the Emily Brontë, Olivia Rose Austin, Desdemona and Susan-Williams-Ellis, the Tranquillity Standard Tree Rose to Eustacia Vye and Gabriel Oak – the two newest additions to the David Austin collection, visitors will be able to browse and purchase their choice of favourite roses for planting, with the option to order potted roses for next day delivery.
David Austin’s team of rose experts will be on hand through the week to advise on the full range of rose care related topics, as well as address any questions visitors may have. A selection of rose care accessories will also be available for purchase at the festival.
Marking six months since the passing of David C. H. Austin, rosarian and founder, a floral display reflecting Mr A’s contribution to the world of horticulture and his lifelong passion for roses, will be on view for visitors.
David Austin, Managing Director, commented: “It is always a pleasure to exhibit at RHS Hampton Court Palace Garden Festival and this year is no exception. Once again we will be showcasing the very best of our roses, including well-known favourites such as Emily Brontë and Desdemona, as well as Eustacia Vye and Gabriel Oak, launched earlier this year.
The Hampton Court Garden festival is a fantastic opportunity to meet and chat with rose-lovers from near and far, to hear their rose gardening stories and experiences – and also to exchange hints and tips!”
