All the important moments in life are reinforced with flowers, and if flowers have such positive effects on people, we need more of them. The Flower Council of Holland launched the 'We need more flowers' campaign for a second time this summer on their Funnyhowflowersdothat.co.uk channels this June, as well as through a well thought out media plan for the UK.
National media strategy
A large national media campaign in the UK included a full-length online video, as well as three shortened versions of the video for social media focusing on the messages of 'more love, more together and more imagination'. As well as online, the campaign was also visible across digital out of home locations like billboards, London Underground digital screens and railway stations across the UK.
Furthermore, a 20-second radio commercial ran to boost the reach above line and spots will be heard across the following national radio stations: Capital, Heart, Classic FM, Radio X, Smooth, Kiss, Magic and Absolute, for even more awareness.
