Three new David Austin wedding roses for 2019

Already introduced at the exhibition at this year’s IPM Essen trade fair, Germany, David Austin’s new varieties Effie, Ella and Eugenie are now in production at Alexandra Farms to use in bridal and other luxury flower arrangements.

David Austin wedding & event roses
Inspired by his success in breeding roses for the garden, David and his eldest son, David J C Austin, have been working together since 1995 to create a new range of cut roses to use in floristry, for weddings and special events. The collection of 14 roses are capable of creating arrangements, bouquets, and bridal flowers.

David Austin died in December 2018. He will be remembered as one of the greatest rosarians and rose breeders of all time who is responsible for creating the world’s first horticultural brand. With over 240 varieties to his name, David Austin was still absolutely passionate about developing new varieties of English Roses until the very end. He died already knowing what the future may hold, having planned and undertaken the next crosses, which will hopefully create a new rose that will be introduced in nine years’ time.
