Video: Dutch garden center gets makeover

In a short time Smiemans Projecten built a new garden centre building of 3,250m² and completely rebuilt the existing garden centre for the well-known garden centre chain 'Groenrijk' in the Netherlands.

As the main contractor they took care of everything; from foundation to the paving, from the shading to the complete construction of the new wide span glasshouse. The budget was tight, still all the architectural elements were built using high-quality materials and modern techniques.

In total, the fully modern garden centre now covers an area of 5,730m². In the new sales area there is a restaurant. On the first floor there are offices and a canteen for employees. The old venlo greenhouse has been converted into a cold covered sales area.

Tuesday, March 15 the new garden centre officially opened the doors. And not just a door; a three-arm revolving door creates an impressive entrance solution and is a real eye-catcher. Smiemans Projecten is proud of the result and thanks the family and subcontractors for the excellent cooperation.
