US (FL:): Looking back at the International Floriculture Expo 2019

The 2019 International Floriculture Expo (IFE) show concluded last week, this time in the Sunshine State, Miami. The IFE is known to be the largest high-volume B2B floral show in North America, uniting floral category vendors with mass-market floral buyers from supermarkets, chain stores, wholesale florist distributors, online retailers and more.

Once again, Ball participated at the exposition showing the newest flower cuts available and our core products featuring Gypsophilas and Limoniums. And they are sharing their experiences with FloralDaily.com.

"This year was special; not only were we able to conduct great business with retailers and growers by showing our new exciting novelties, sponsoring the Iron Competition and the Naming Ceremony but also we were able to greet all attendees at the Miami Convention Center Lobby´s entrance with a beautiful Flower Wall where hundreds of pictures were taken by the guests and then shared on social media."

"The Iron Designer Competition took place during the second day of the show. The competition was fiercely competed by 5 contestants, where they all had the same materials to assemble their design in only 20 minutes!"

"And as with every year, Ball was a proud sponsor of the 10th annual Naming Ceremony that took place during the last day of the show. In 2019, a special breed of Tulip, called the “Dutch Lane”, was named after Lane Devries, President and CEO of Sun Valley farms. The new tulip is a vibrant, though soft pink colored Tulip bred by Vertuco BV."
