Anecoop diversifies in France with the acquisition of Floren'Sud

The company Floren'Sud, devoted to the design and manufacture of flower bouquets, is already part of Anecoop, after being acquired by the group through its French holding Mundus Naturalis. With an annual turnover of 6.5 million Euro and more than 50 employees, the bulk of the supply of its raw material comes from Spain and France (by 40% in both cases).

In the words of the president of Anecoop, Alejandro Monzón, "the incorporation of this company into the group is helping us boost our strength and our identity. Together, we are opening a new path that we are convinced will be very fruitful."

Anecoop's plans for Floren'Sud include doubling the company's turnover in the next 5 years through the implementation of reorganization, computerization and dynamisation plans for the local and Spanish productions. It will also introduce new mechanical confections and launch new products, mainly indoor plants.

For the president of Mundus Naturalis, Miguel Abril, "this acquisition is strengthening the presence of the group as a whole in the French market, offering a new diversification opportunity to the partners, while increasing local implementation and adding value to the whole chain."

For his part, the CEO of Anecoop France, Jean Luc Anglés, said that "this is a long-term project that fits in with our commitment as a company, with a strong implementation of corporate social responsibility values." He also said that "we look for projects that complement our activity, but our goal is not to grow at all costs, but to work towards a sustainable and harmonious development. With this objective in mind, we have appointed Henri Thorent as director of Floren'Sud, as he's a professional with extensive experience in Anecoop France, who we are sure will perform this task perfectly."
