Wholesale Florist & Florist Supply Association

Photos WF&FSA Floral Distribution Conference

With nearly 600 attendees, the Wholesale Florists & Florist Supplier Association (WF&FSA) closed its annual Floral Distribution Conference in Miami (FL) yesterday, November 7. The three-day event offered educational sessions on disruptions within the floral distribution channel, including changes to transportation, logistics, business consolidation and supply chain challenges. In addition, the visitors had the opportunity to meet almost 100 exhibitors showcasing the latest products in the floral industry.

Lourdes Reyes, who's now working for BloomyProUSA, was also present at the event and was kind enough to send us an impression of the show, along with some nice pictures of the exhibitors and their table top displays.

"Every year WF&FSA is becoming more interesting, more international and more diversified. Flowers from growers and breeders, from places like Colombia, Ecuador, Costa Rica, Canada and as far as Australia and Japan were on display."

Reyes notices that services, containers, transport and technology are becoming more and more important in the fresh cut flower industry. One service is BloomyPro, which was proudly introduced to the WF&FSA members. "More and more the industry is realizing that going virtual is not only a necessity but a way to save time, resources and money. As a newcomer in the US market, BloomyPro is proud to part of the Wholesale Florists & Florist Supplier Association of America. The newest technology in 3D virtual bouquet design at your finger tips."
