The Regional Flower Growers & Exporters forum has seen Fresh Produce Exporters Association of Kenya (FPEAK) and Kenya Flower Council (KFC) tour various counties in order to sensitize on the implications of False Coddling Moth on Roses as a hindrance to continued market access.
So far, the forum has taken place in Eldoret, Naivasha and Nanyuki.
Kenya Plant Health Inspectorate Service (KEPHIS) and Kenya Agriculture and Livestock Research Organization (KALRO) have been in attendance and have so far made presentations on the status of FCM on Roses and Research being undertaken respectively.
