Plantpeddler mourns loss of Connie Goodman

"After years of fighting a relentless battle, we lost a long-time team member at Plantpeddler to cancer. Our company would simply not be without her dedication, passion, leadership and knowledge. Connie guided our production, helped create the systems we use, understood plant culture, and most importantly was an outstanding, quiet leader who taught us all how to grow plants and our friendships.

"In June of 1980, when Rachel and I had just taken ownership of Cresco Greenhouses, Connie Harmon was finishing her internship at our greenhouse. After graduating from college, we convinced her to join our fledgling company. You might say, 'Well, that was Connie's first mistake'. For the next 39 years, she grew with us and for us. In good times and bad, she was dedicated to helping create who we are today. Always steadfast, Connie was the calm in the storm.

"She met her husband, Brian Goodman, while both were working for Plantpeddler, raising three outstanding children, who in their youth all worked here with their mom. Connie has an incredible family and we are proud to be a part of it.

"She will be missed terribly by all of us at Plantpeddler, especially by Rachel, Abby, John and Mike.

"Please keep Brian, Laura, Matthew, Sharon and their family in your thoughts and prayers. Services are pending. Please feel free to contact Plantpeddler for further information, flowers and memorials."

Sincerely, Mike & Rachel Gooder Abigail, Dan & Wyatt Inglis John, Molly & Ella Gooder
