The screening companies DoekenDraad.nl and Screen4seasons from the Westland are going to collaborate. The ‘old-timers’ in the business, Cees van der Kaaij from DoekenDraad.nl and Ron Groenewald from Screen4seasons, have decided this with effect from 1 February. In order to allow both companies to grow further, we have opted for a collaboration in which each will retain its own corporate identity.

Almost in unison, both Cees and Ron say that "if health allows, we certainly will continue with pleasure for many years to come. The profession is way too enjoyable and we are still full of energy." Besides, Cees and Ron are not doing it alone. Ron: "At our back office we have Paul Barendse as an experienced and very technical man, while Cees, with his son Colin, has a young man with entrepreneurial spirit beside him."
Own corporate identity
As stated, both companies will continue to retain their own corporate identity for the time being. "DoekenDraad.nl is active in the larger projects in the Netherlands, Belgium and Germany, while Screen4seasons has traditionally been solution-oriented, innovative and, above all, service-oriented," says Colin. However, both companies will jointly purchase and support projects and provide service. And that's where the fifth person comes in, Gerrit Drankier. He also has amply earned his place in the screening market.
Shaking hands on the deal
"We are looking forward to it," is their statement with the HortiContact and the rest of 2020 ahead. At the exhibition, where both companies will be present together at stand F204, also an innovation will be introduced. What it is? That will remain a secret a bit longer.
