Changes in the Board of Directors at Kuehne + Nagel

Dr. Thomas Staehelin, whose mandate after forty-two years as a member of the Board of Directors of Kuehne + Nagel International AG ends with the Annual General Meeting on 5 May 2020, no longer stands for re-election to the Board of Directors.

Dominik Bürgy is proposed as a new member for the election to the Board of Directors of Kuehne + Nagel International AG. Dominik Bürgy, born 1966, is a graduated tax expert and partner at Wenger & Vieli, attorneys-at-law. He holds a law-degree from the University of Bern. Bürgy is a Swiss citizen.

Previously, Bürgy was a long-standing partner and member of the management board of Ernst & Young Switzerland as well as Managing Partner Tax & Legal Switzerland. Additionally, he was a member of the Tax Leadership team (Germany, Austria, and Switzerland) and People Partner Tax with HR responsibility. His activities included in particular the management of global mandates in more than 70 countries.

Dr. Joerg Wolle, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Kuehne + Nagel International AG, says: "On behalf of the Board of Directors, I would like to cordially thank Dr. Staehelin for his extremely successful, long-standing and very valuable contribution to the Board of Directors and as Chairman of the Audit Committee of Kuehne + Nagel International AG.

We are glad to have Mr. Bürgy as an expert with a well-connected network being proposed for the election to the Board of Directors.”
