The Parks and Gardens Department of the Golbasi municipality in the capital city of Ankara continues to grow its own flowers and plants in its own greenhouses. The greenhouse workers keep planting 70,000 marigold flowers which will later be used in the parks and gardens of the municipality.
The municipality officials note that with these flowers, they were always able to keep the municipality parks and green areas filled with color and add that by growing these flowers by themselves, they are able to cut down their costs significantly.
