Due to the current market situation and the good weather forecast regarding the next two weeks, the special auction on Good Friday, 10 April 2020, will be held at Veiling Rhein-Maas. In calendar week 16, Veiling Rhein-Maas will auction on four weekdays as there will be no auction on Easter Monday as planned. Furthermore, the early auctioning period will not yet start in calendar week 15.

Control and management of supplied quantities
As already communicated on 2 April 2020, it is necessary to implement measures concerning the quantity control of all supplied goods. The auction especially points out to suppliers of potted plants, that exceeding the weekly supply report is not permitted. Only those goods that have been registered and approved in the weekly supply report may be delivered. Employees will control the supplied quantities more intensively from now on. The auction urgently requests that you adhere to this regulations. In the event of non-compliance, they unfortunately feel compelled to take the following measures:

  • Veiling Rhein-Maas will charge the supplier with € 20.00 per load carrier for an unauthorized supply, as provided in the supplier rates.
  • The goods will not be marketed. The supplier has the opportunity to collect his unauthorized supply from Straelen-Herongen within 24 hours.
  • If the supplier does not follow this request, the goods will be disposed and the supplier will be charged with the disposal fee.

Veiling Rhein-Maas will inform you on its website or social media channels (FacebookTwitterLinkedIn) about the latest developments and measures concerning the Coronavirus. Register here for their email newsletters in order to receive the latest information directly.
