Webinar to support growers coming out of the COVID-19 crisis

Taking place on Tuesday 30 June at 16:00 Central European Summer Time (CEST), this free, 1.5-hour webinar will provide listeners with anecdotes from industry leaders about overcoming the adversity brought on by Covid-19 protection measures.

Ornamental growers from around the world are invited to join a free webinar that will help you learn from the experience of others and define the right path for your own business as you recover from the business effects of the coronavirus pandemic.

Organized by FCI, facilitated by experienced webinar organiser, Jungle Talks, and supported by the International Association of Horticultural Producers (AIPH), the webinar will open with a presentation from Dr Charlie Hall, Ellison Chair in International Floriculture, Texas A&M University, USA. He who will outline the approach that growers need to take in reviewing their businesses and determining next steps.

Following Charlie, there will be presentations from Arie van den Berg of Van den Berg Roses, the Netherlands, and Toine Overgaag of Westerlay Orchids, California, the USA. They will share their experiences in handling the crisis and their plans for the future. After the presentations, there is a chance for webinar participants to ask questions and discuss strategies.
