One of the best known hydrangea gardeners in Germany died. Gustav Zeitheim, born on September 8th, 1931, said goodbye to his family and friends on June 21st, 2020.
Gustav Zeitheim had done a lot for the training of young gardeners as an independent gardener, but in his last active years he made a special name for himself by growing hydrangeas on the international ornamental plant market.
During his career, he received several gold medals from the Zentralverband Gartenbau E.V. for his excellent cultures and other honors.
His extraordinary passion lives on in his sons Ludwig and Thomas Zeitheim.
