In June and July, the Royal FloraHolland Members' Council organised for the first time online member sessions to discuss some topics with the members. These sessions provided valuable input.
The sessions focused on the crisis and its impact on our companies and the cooperative. Members were also brought up to date on Royal FloraHolland's finances and strategy.
All sessions have taken place, except for the session for Ethiopian members, which was postponed due to the situation in the country. Feedback showed that members enjoyed these sessions. However, a number of members were also missed for whom this time of year is too busy at the nursery, or who are not keen on participating in an online session.
Royal FloraHolland hopes to organise another meeting in November. The plan is to have member sessions online and in person, if circumstances permit.
